12/10/2018 - Paris Jayne Janis
A memorial service for Paris Jayne Janis, age 8 ½ months (Gestational Age), will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Sharp’s Corner Baptist Church in Sharp’s Corner, SD with Pastor Matt Hadden officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Manuel Fool Head.
Burial will be at the Janis Family Homestead in Sharp’s Corner, SD.
Paris was born on December 3, 2018 in Rapid City, SD to Payton Janis and Simone Montileaux. She made her journey to the Spirit World on December 3, 2018 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Paris is survived by parents Payton Janis and Simone Montileaux; aunts Shalane Janis, Dawn Marie Janis, Shawna Janis, Esperanza Montileaux and Cante Montileaux; uncles Calvin Janis, Olin Janis, Victor Janis, Eldon Montileaux and Jeremiah Montileaux; grandparents Doug Janis, Tiffany Shangreau and Lynn Montileaux; great-grandparents Manuel Fool Head and Sheralda Montileaux; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and extended relatives.
Paris was preceded in death by grandparents Darla Shangreau-Pourier and Rick Shangreau; and great-grandparents Calvin and Ethelyn Shangreau and Diamond and Raymond Janis.
