Funeral services for Tohkala Hoksila Pourier, age 24 Weeks (Gestational Age), will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Wounded Knee District CAP Office in Manderson, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mike Little Boy Sr. and Lee Plenty Wolf
Burial will be at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Manderson, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Wounded Knee District CAP Office in Manderson, SD.
Tohkala Hoksila, infant son to Amanda Pourier, was born and passed away on December 18, 2018 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE.
Tohkala Hoksila is survived by mother Amanda Pourier of Scottsbluff, NE; brothers Isaac Brown of Marshville, MO and Samuel Plenty Wolf and Ezra Pourier of Scottsbluff, NE; sisters Lexus Brown of Marshville, MO and Mariah Pourier and Lyricca Stands of Scottsbluff, NE; grandparents Ronald Pourier of Hay Springs, NE and Mary Plenty Wolf of Manderson, SD; uncle Edward Pourier of Rapid City, SD; and aunts Magdaline Pourier of Scottsbluff, NE, Alison Palomo of Gering, NE, and Shannon Blain of Scottsbluff, NE.
Tohkala Hoksila was preceded in death by sister Isabel Brown; and cousins Jonathan Plenty Wolf and Leah Garduno.
