At her request, no services will be held for Marilyn Belschner, age 88, of Chadron, NE, formerly of Amherst, NE and Taos, NM.
Her cremains will be buried at Stanley Cemetery in Buffalo County, with her parents, Margaret and Marion Fuller of Kearney, NE.

Marilyn passed away on December 23, 2018 in her home of the last five years in Chadron, NE. In addition to daughters Vicki Papineau (Rick) and Shawn Cogdill (Rex), four grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, Marilyn left a legacy of artwork.
She was a self-taught artist and attended domestic and international workshops to develop her style and talent. During her years as an artist, she illustrated books in pen and ink and worked with oils, watercolors, and sculpture. She attended 17 art workshops, was represented by 11 art galleries, and had countless exhibits and showings over a 50-year period. Her passion was creating portraits, the human face, with pastels. Her work will remain at the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA), the Hastings Museum, the archives of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C., askArt.com, her website, marilynpastelartist.com, and in hundreds of private collections across the country.
