Funeral services for Myrna Eva Eagle Hawk, age 50, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Elder Donovan Youngman and Elder Madeline Terry officiating.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Myrna was born on December 18, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to Tibbitts Eagle Hawk and Hannah Kills In Water. She made her journey to the Spirit World on December 30, 2018 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Myrna is survived by children Vanna Bear Saves Life, Paul Bear Saves Life, Verdell Bear Saves Life, and Patricia Carlow, all of Oglala, SD; sister Gabrielle Fights Over of Oglala, SD; brothers Tibbitts Eagle Hawk Jr. and Verdell Eagle Hawk of Oglala, SD; grandchildren Kaydence Moves Camp, Mary Bear Saves Life, Theresa Red Cloud, Rhiannon Bad Heart Bull, Mya Eagle Hawk, Choleah Cortier, Cheyem Cortier, and numerous grandchildren; nieces Deanna Eagle Hawk, Sonia Fights Over, Juanita Denise Eagle Hawk, and Angel Eagle Hawk; and nephews Travis Brown, Justin Eagle Hawk, and Jesse Eagle Hawk.
Myrna was preceded in death by parents Tibbitts Eagle Hawk Sr. and Hannah Kills In Water; sister Violet Eagle Hawk; brother Harold “Tucker” Eagle Hawk; and nephew Lambert Eagle Hawk.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Myrna Eva Eagle Hawk.
