Funeral Services for 55-year old Myron Robert Ghost Bear will be Monday, January 7 at noon at the Youth Center in Allen, S.D., with Pastor Tim Wardell officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Justin Poor Bear.

Burial will be at the St Barnabas Episcopal Center in Kyle, S.D.

There will be one night wake service on Sunday, Jan 6, starting at 4:30 PM, at the Youth Center in Allen, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements for Myron Robert Ghost Bear.

Myron Robert Ghost Bear was born on March 31, 1963 in Pine Ridge, SD to George, Sr. and Sarah (Little Bull) Ghost Bear.  Myron made his journey to the Spirit World on December 31, 2018 at the Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Myron is survived by his wife, Abby Ghost Bear; children, Mikayla Ghost Bear and Serena Ghost Bear both of Allen, SD, and Marcus Charging Crow of Wanblee, SD; sisters, Matilda (Larry) Montileaux and Averial Marshall both of Kyle, SD; and brother, Dennis Ghost Bear of Rapid City, SD.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents, George, Sr. and Sarah (Little Bull) Ghost Bear; daughter, Saren Ghost Bear; brothers, Robert John Ghost Bear and George Ghost Bear, Jr.; sister, Gladys Ghost Bear; and his beloved dog, Duke.
