Funeral Services for 74-year old Minerva Frances Blacksmith will be Tuesday, January 22, at 10:00 AM at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD., with Pastor Darren Purdy officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be by Mr. Ivis Long Visitor

Burial will be at the Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery in Red Shirt Table, SD

There will be a one-night wake serving starting Monday at 1:30 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, that will include evening services at 7:00  PM and a Toakala Roll Call at 11:00 PM.

Minerva Frances Blacksmith was born on December 27, 1944 at home in Oglala, SD to Asa Walks Out and Elizabeth Blacksmith.  Minerva made her journey to the Spirit World on January 16, 2019 at the Regional Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD.

Pallbearers will be Ana Alvarez, Luis Emilio Alvarez, Jose Vasquez, David Two Bulls, James Arviso, and Manuel Arviso.
