Funeral services for Calvina Rose White Wolf, age 61, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Segura Residence, Slimbuttes Trading Post in Slimbuttes, SD with the officiant To Be Announced. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Phillip Davis.
Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Slimbuttes, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Segura Residence, Slimbuttes Trading Post in Slimbuttes, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Calvina was born on October 16, 1957 in Riverton, WY to Calvin White Wolf and Minnie Elizabeth (Frog) Bear Robe. She was raised by Raymond and Minnie Bear Robe. Calvina made her journey to the Spirit World on December 21, 2018 in Wheatridge, CO.
Calvina is survived by husband Michael Alvarado Sr. of Colorado; sons Michael Alvarado Jr. and Martin Alvarado of Colorado; daughters Irma and Carmelita Alvarado of Colorado; sisters Deloris Segura and Carmelita Richards of Slimbuttes, SD; 10 grandchildren; niece Rachel Cortez of Colorado; and nephew Ross Segura of Slimbuttes, SD.
Calvina was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Minnie (Frog) Bear Robe; daughter Deloris Alvarado; and granddaughter Ricki Michelle Alvarado.
Pallbearers will be Ross Segura, Phillip Davis, Bo Davis, Lynford Davis, Joseph Skye, and Tyler Bettelyoun.
