Funeral services for Dorothy Ann (Brown) Two Bulls “Cante Waste Win,” age 66, will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Red Shirt Table School Gym in Red Shirt Table, SD with Reverend Robert Two Bulls and Deacon Reverend Twila Two Bulls officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Darla Black.
Burial will be at the Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery in Red Shirt Table, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Red Shirt Table School Gym in Red Shirt Table, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Dorothy was born on May 16, 1952 at home in Kadoka, SD to Garfield T. Brown Sr. and Zona (Wilcox) Brown. She made her journey to the Spirit World on February 3, 2019 at the Sanford USD Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Dorothy is survived by husband Francis Two Bulls Sr. of Red Shirt Table, SD; children Lynette and Veronica Two Bulls of Pine Ridge, SD and Jada and Montero Two Bulls of Red Shirt Table, SD; stepchildren Connie Two Bulls of Red Shirt Table, SD, Noreen, Melissa and Eileen Two Bulls, all of Kyle, SD, Les Two Bulls of Rosebud, SD, Andrea Akers and Terry Two Bulls of Pine Ridge, SD, Francis Two Bulls Jr. of Bismarck, ND, Manuel Two Bulls of Oglala, SD, and Shawn Two Bulls of Allen, SD; grandchildren Tresean, Atlantis, and Illusion Red Star, all of Wounded Knee, SD; siblings Fred T. (Jean “Sugar”) Brown Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD, Roselyn Swan of Rapid City, SD, Bonnie Brown of Pine Ridge, SD, Serena (Irv Provost) Brown of Pine Ridge, SD, Doreen (Orren Provost) Two Bulls of Porcupine, SD, Harold (Sally) Brown of Pine Ridge, SD and Richard Brown of Rapid City, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by parents Garfield and Zona (Wilcox) Brown; son Orien Two Bulls; brothers Elgin Brown Sr., Lester Brown Sr., and Garfield Brown Jr.; stepsons Jesse and Duane Two Bulls; godson/grandson Orie Brown; granddaughter Kristina Walking Eagle; nieces Alicia Provost and Connie Brown; nephews Steven Brown and Reuben Brown; and grandparents (maternal) Fred and Anna (Quiver) Wilcox and (paternal) Charles Brown and Lena Fast Wolf-Iron Elk.
