Henry was born on September 23, 1972 in Gordon, NE to Henry Louis DuBray Sr. and Leona (Picket Pin) DuBray. He made his journey to the Spirit World on February 14, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Henry enjoyed anything to do with sports; he loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed playing softball, horseshoes, boxing, and doing many different activities with his children and family.

Henry was a very humble man and made sure to always follow his traditional ways. Henry Sundanced and carried the sacred chanunpa for his family. He would also take his children, Jazmine and Olowan, to pow-wows to show them these traditional ways and why they were so important.

After the years passed, Henry planted his roots in Alliance, NE. He made many friends over the years. Henry met and married Krista (Bolinger) DuBray, and they were married for 25 years. During his time with Krista, they adopted two beautiful children, Jazmine and Olowan. These two children soon stole Henry's heart, and he knew they came into his life for a purpose. He spent every minute he could with his children; if he wasn't taking them to baseball games or pow-wows, you would find them all at home enjoying each other's company. When Henry was not around his family, he could always be found with his close cousin, Rocky. When they were together, there was no telling what would happen. If you could not find Henry, you would be sure to find him with Rocky at the local casino enjoying themselves. Henry brightened up the room and always looked at the good in every situation. His laugh was contagious and could turn anyone's day around. Henry was a great father, husband, son, and friend...and above all he was a fighter. There was no doubt about that, but even the strongest fighter cannot go on forever. Henry took his last breath surrounded by his loving family on February 14, 2019. His memories will be cherished in our hearts forever. He will be missed by his family and friends, especially his two children, Jazmine and Olowan.

After 29 years, Henry is survived by love of his life Krista (Bolinger) DuBray of Lincoln, NE; beloved children Jazmine DuBray and Olowan DuBray of Lincoln, NE; sister Debra DuBray of Rapid City, SD; nephew Matthew (Brandy) DuBray; and children Mia, Leana, and Makenzie, all of Rapid City, SD.

Henry was preceded in death by parents Henry DuBray Sr. and Leona (Picket Pin) DuBray and grandparents Bernard and Katherine (Lone Wolf) DuBray and David Sr. and Hilda (White Wash) Picket Pin.
