Funeral service for Santana Lee Trejo will be Monday, March 11, 2019 at noon in the Youth Center in Allen , SD, with traditional Lakota services by Mr Steve Dubray.

Burial will be at the Native American Cemetery in Allen.

A two-night wake service will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and 10, at the Youth Center in Allen starting at 1:00 pm and with prayer services at 7:00 each night.

Arrangements for Santana Lee Trejo are entrusted with Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD.

Santana Lee Trejo was born on March 27, 1994 in Gordon, NE to Raymond Trejo, Sr. and Lavina (Richards) Trejo and made his journey to the Spirit World on March 5, 2019 in Rapid City, SD.

Santana was a loving father to 3 daughters, MacKenzie and Lavina Trejo and Arabella Red Cloud, and 2 sons, Austin and Killian Trejo, all of Rapid City, SD.

Santana is survived by his children; his siblings, RaeAnne (Josue) Trejo of Allen, SD, Renee Trejo of California, Ohinniyan Trejo of Oglala, SD, Joseph White Face, Raymond (Opal) Trejo, Jr., Adam (Tara) Trejo, Sr. and Todd (Trisha) Trejo, all of Rapid City, SD; his maternal grandmother, Sophia (Vincent) LaMont of Allen, SD; grandparents, Doug Richards, Marvin & Jacky Richards, Bonnie Richard, Amanda “Carma” Fullen, Jim Richard, Sr., and Dale Richard; and hunka parents, Jerry Poor Bear, and Jimmy & Brenda Trejo.

Santana was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Lavina Trejo; daughter, Baby Girl Poor Thunder; grandparents, Lupe and Melda Trejo; aunts, Delores Holy Eagle, Sandra Blue Bird, and Kedell Bell; uncles, Manuel, Lupe, Jr., Marcus and Richard Trejo; and grandfather, Raymond Richards.

Pallbearers will be: Steven “Junior” DuBray, Corey Rogers, Joseph “J.C.” Thunder Hawk. Keya Attack Him, Joseph Standing Bear, Inyan Eagle Elk, Troy Richards, Jr., Gary Richards, Jr., Will Plenty Arrows, Jerry Poor Bear, Jeremy Phelps, Michael Red Bear, Jonathan Bad Wound, Jr., Luke Bad Wound and Leon Holy Eagle.
