Funeral services for Kelsey Ray Good Lance “Teqhiye Ahan Ku” “Wanbli Pejuta,” age 27, will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Pastor Leon Schwartz and Pastor Eric Sutton officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mike Catches and Ivis Long Visitor.
Burial will be at the Good Lance Family Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Kelsey was born on July 16, 1991 in Devils Lake, ND to Renfred Good Lance and Linda Belt-Twiss. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 16, 2019 at his home in Oglala, SD.
Kelsey is survived by children Xander Good Lance, Shayna Long, Diamond Long, Saff’ron Good Lance, Mystal Rayne Long, and Lily Jane Long; father Renfred Good Lance; mother, Linda Belt-Twiss; and siblings Bryan Good Lance, Paula Good Lance, Trey Good Lance, Rendyn Good Lance, Taneesha Good Lance, Alicia Good Lance-Janis, Frances Good Lance, Wyatt Good Lance, Joseph Belt, Angleigh Twiss, Peppermint (Josh Red Cloud) Twiss, Jasmine Twiss, Carrie Twiss, and Misun Belt.
Pallbearers will be Dale Pine, Brennan Brewer, Amanda Carlow, Josh Red Cloud, Nupa White Plume, Johnny Star, Alex Pine, Barron Star, Jeff Turning Heart, Caleb Blacksmith, Jeremy “Wormo” Weston, Chris Long Visitor, Hoksila Gilbert Blacksmith, JoDean Blacksmith, Michael Featherman, BJ Plenty Arrows, Sioux D. Janis, Brandon Kills Small, Quinn Kills Small, Stephan Kills Small, Robert Izay Martin, and James Pine.
