Funeral services for Ray Lance Stoldt Sr., age 41, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Edmund Yainao, S.J., officiating.
 
Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.

A wake service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with rosary services at 7:00 PM.

Ray was born on December 23, 1977 in Boise, ID to Marvin Stoldt, Sr. and Rita (Her Many Horses) Stoldt.  Ray made his journey to the Spirit World on May 3, 2019 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Ray is survived by wife Wendelyn New Holy of Oglala, SD; children Wade Stoldt, Ray Stoldt Jr., and Joy New Holy, all of Oglala, SD; father Marvin Stoldt Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters Charmaine Stoldt and Patti Stoldt of Pine Ridge, SD, Candi Johnson of Salol, MN, April Stoldt and Emily Stoldt of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers Frank Stoldt of Fargo-Moorehead, ND and Cameron Stoldt of Oglala, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by mother Rita Stoldt and brother Marvin Stoldt Jr.
