Funeral services for Jeremiah William Janis, age 38, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD with Father Ed Witt, S.J., officiating.

Burial will be at 3:15 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

A Visitation service will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD.

Jeremiah was born on July 27, 1980 in Rapid City, SD to Mary Janis and Gordon Alexander. He made his journey to the Spirit World on May 6, 2019 in Rapid City, SD.

Jeremiah is survived by mother Mary Janis of Rapid City, SD; father Gordon Alexander of Honolulu, HI; spouse Diane Janis of Rapid City, SD; children Joshua Dotson, Jasmine Vodicka, Quentin Cadotte-Gray, A’mya Janis, Daunte Janis, Marissa Cadotte-Gray, Bishop Janis, Dalton Janis, Coltin Janis, and Mila Janis; grandchildren Vayla and Vayden Vodicka; siblings Ryan Crawford, Heather Janis, Jessica Janis, Justin Janis, Eric LaDeaux, Isaac Allen, Crystal Allen, Erica Griffith, Shawna Janis and Angel Janis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by brother Jordan Allen; uncle Francis Janis, and grandparents Ed and Mary Janis and numerous other grandmothers and grandfathers.
