Memorial services for Myla Alydth Steele, age 64, will be on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM (MT) at the Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery in Red Shirt Table, SD. 

A memorial has been established, and donations can be sent to her daughter Gloria at 1941 J Street #7, Lincoln, NE 68510.

Myla was born on January 14, 1954 and passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2018 at her home in Merced, CA where she lived the majority of her life with Joseph Kelly. Myla loved rock & roll music and spending time with her beloved pets.

Myla was preceded in death by son Chris Steele of Lincoln, NE; parents Charles C. and Sarah Steele; brothers Bob, Richard, and Dennis; sisters Faith and Mary; and great-grandson Noah (Taylor).

Myla is survived by siblings Charles Steele of NM, Linda Steele of MN, Cleo Herrera of MN, and Sandy Yellow Bird Steele of TX; children Gloria Bratt of Lincoln, NE, Dale and Beatrice Leach of NE, and Michelle Leach of Lincoln NE; grandchildren Taylor (Jacob, & Braxton), Joseph (Joesiah & Keenan), Scott (baby due in Aug.), Diamond (Hunter & Owen), Amethyst (Katana & Vash), Dale III, Lakota Spirit (Natalya), Tasha (Wakyian & Spirit Rose) Lasaige (Jasiah & Jamias), and Alysha all of Lincoln, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
