Funeral services for Angela Carol American Horse-Goings “Tasina Luta Win” (Red Shawl Woman), age 69, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Ed Hunt and Mother Rhoda Mesteth officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Chief Wakinyan Sna Mani I and Wakinyan Sna Mani II.

Burial will be at the Advent Cemetery in Calico, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Angela was born on July 25, 1949 in Pine Ridge, SD to Reverend Leonard American Horse and Vivian Theresa (Little Soldier) American Horse. She made her journey to the Spirit World on May 28, 2019 at the I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Angela is survived by daughters Theresa Rebecca Ann Goings (Patrick Davis) and Crystal Gayle Goings-Davis (Phillip) of Pine Ridge, SD; grandchildren Ashley Justine White Plume, Alan Jackson White Plume, Leonard Gayle White Plume, Duane Alexander Lee Davis, Katana Rain Davis, Angela Lee Davis, and Arainna Jade Davis, all of Pine Ridge, SD; great-grandchildren Elaina and Beau Bodhi-Crantz of Pine Ridge, SD; hunka son Valentino Ramon Garnette of Pine Ridge, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Angela was preceded in death by parents Reverend Leonard and Vivian Theresa American Horse; the Love of Her Life for 42 years husband Duane “Red” Goings; son Alex White Plume Jr.; and granddaughter Alexandria White Plume.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Yellow Boy, Jimi LaPointe, Ranaldo Two Bulls, Dustin Hart, William Palmier Sr., Ramon Garnette, Paul “Albs” Goings, Alan White Plume, Darren Yellow Boy, and Tyler Richards.
