Funeral services for Kimimila Luta Winyan Richards “Tunka Ho Waste’ Wi,” age 16, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with Earl and Rachel Adair officiating.

Graveside services will be at the Lakota Chapel Cemetery in Martin, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night of the wake.

Kimimila was born on November 4, 2002 in Pine Ridge, SD to Earl Richards Jr. and Jewel Means. She made her journey to the Spirit World on June 1, 2019 at her home in Martin, SD.

Kimimila is survived by father Earl J. Richards Jr.; mother Jewel Sunbeam Means; siblings Anthony Kenneth Richards, Kiandra Dawn Richards, Earl James Richards III, Jason Wade Richards, Natasha Lynn Richards, Jamie Marie Richards, Cyril James Richards, and Rose Lynn Richards; maternal grandmother Donna Marshall; aunts Destaney and Cordelia Means; uncle Wesley Means; and cousins Brandon Hernandez, Carol Hernandez, Tamera Wilcox, Monica Hernandez, Cassandra Hamel, and Carla Hernandez.

Kimimila was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Earl Richards Sr. and Iva Iron Bear; aunts Sandra “Bobbi” Richards and Verbena “Beanie” Richards; cousin Richard Paul Hernandez; maternal grandfather Wesley Means Sr.; and great-grandparents Wilbert Means, Jewel Frazier, Francis Marshall, and Cordelia Trouble In Front.

Pallbearers will be Everett Cottier, Norman Tallman, Brandon Hernandez, Wesley Means Jr., Ieasha Belhage, Clarissa Esquivel, Tristan Richards, and Tessa Salway.

Honorary pallbearers will be all Family, Friends and Relatives.
