Funeral services for Antoine J. Yellow Robe, age 60, will be at 10:00 AM (MT) on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Corn Creek Community Building in Corn Creek, SD with Father Ed Hunt, Lay Reader Rita Brown, and Glenn Old Lodge officiating.

Burial will be at Trinity Episcopal Cemetery in Mission, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin with the first night at 2:00 PM (MT) on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Wanblee CAP Office in Wanblee, SD. The second night will start at 2:45 (MT) on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Corn Creek Community Building in Corn Creek, SD. Evening services will start at 7:00 PM each night of the wake services.

Antoine was born on June 6, 1959 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent Yellow Robe and Harriett Pauline Brown. He made his journey to the Spirit World on June 10, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Antoine is survived by siblings Twylla (Roger) Amiotte of Kadoka, SD, Marilyn (Clifford) Bettelyoun of Kadoka, SD, Marietta (Robert) Red Shirt of Allen, SD, Michael (Minerva Bear Killer) McBride of Allen, SD, and Clement Holy Eagle of Wanblee, SD; longtime friend Shannon Witt of Corn Creek, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Antoine was preceded in death by mother Pauline Brown; father Vincent Yellow Robe; brother Edward Yellow Robe; uncle Louie Brown; and nephew Bill Turney.

Pallbearers will be Albert Witt, Jonathan Little Thunder, Tuffy Romero, Ernest Red Elk, Roydean Yankton, Eddie Bartlett, and Jake Black Bull.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike McBride, Roger Amiotte, Darlene Amiotte, Orville Milk, Robert Red Shirt, Clifford Bettelyoun, John Wooden Knife, and all Friends and Relatives.
