Funeral services for Christina Marie Little Brave, age 35, will be at 11:00 AM (MT) on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Corn Creek Community Center in Corn Creek, SD with Manley Little Brave from the Native American Church and Apostle Pedro Sharpfish from the First Body of Jesus Christ Church officiating.

Cremation will follow services. Burial will be held at a later date.

A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM (MT) on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Corn Creek Community Center in Corn Creek, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Christina was born on August 21, 1983 in Valentine, NE to Manley Little Brave and Agnes Rose Little Hawk. She made her journey to the Spirit World on June 19, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Christina is survived by father Manley Little Brave; son Michael Patrick Little Brave; sisters Twila Little Brave, Marella Burch, April Little Brave, Monique White Bear Claws, and Marquetta Shields-Peltier; hunka sister Michelle Randall; brothers Silas Little Brave, Michael Little Brave, Kenneth Little Brave Jr., and Edward Shields; and special niece Myah White Bear Claws.

Christina was preceded in death by mother Agnes Rose Little Hawk; sisters Julie and Roberta Little Brave; brother Wahacanka Shields-Peltier; paternal grandparents David and Mercy (Leading Cloud) Little Brave; maternal grandmother Hazel Shields-Little Hawk; aunts Rita Peanuex, Eleanor Red Cloud, and Lillian Sharpfish; and uncles Norman Little Brave Jr., Harvey Little Brave Sr., Reginald Little Brave, Sylvan Little Hawk, Rudy Understanding Crow, Harry Starr, and Wilbur Between Lodges.

Pallbearers will be Fred Morris, Thomas Shield, Edward Shields, Zeno Little, Travis Mousseaux, Jay Janis Sr., Harvey Little Brave Jr., Mike Little Brave, Quentin Little Brave, Kenneth Little Brave, Brian Hart, Brandon Rodriguez, and Jesse Vettis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be First Body of Jesus Christ Church Members, Native American Church Members, and all Friends and Relatives.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Christina Marie Little Brave.
