Funeral services for Theodore “Ted” Lee Little Moon, age 53, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene near Wounded Knee, SD with Pastor Alex Bad Bear and Norman Cash officiating.

Graveside services will be at the Fast Horse Creek Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin with the first night at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. The second night will start at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene near Wounded Knee, SD. Evening services will start at 7:00 PM each night of the wake services.

Ted was born on August 4, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wilson Little Moon and Cecelia (Fast Horse) Spotted Bear. He made his journey to the Spirit World on June 26, 2019 at his home near Wounded Knee, SD.

Ted is survived by mother Cecelia Spotted Bear; children Cody (Missy) Little Moon, Promise Little Moon, and Brad (Casey) Little Moon; siblings Tom (Angie) Little Moon, Leon (Pamela) Little Moon, Joe “Frosty” Little Moon, Ed Spotted Bear, and Marie Little Moon; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ted was preceded in death by wife Carmel Little Moon; father Wilson Little Moon; daughter Eden Rose Little Moon; and siblings Sandra Little Moon and Joe Spotted Bear.

Pallbearers will be Lyle Jack, Wally Mousseau, Marvin Boltz, Keith Returns, Charlie Waters, Emelio Two Eagle, Ed Spotted Bear, Sam Cash, Pete Swift Bird, Francis Little Moon, Louis Winters, Ben Freeman, and Halen Bad Bear.
