Funeral services for Cody Wayne Clifford, age 36, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Manderson, SD with Father Edmund Yainao and Joyce Tibbitts officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Darla Black.

Graveside services will be at St. Phillips Episcopal Cemetery in Manderson, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin with the first night starting at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with evening services at 7:00 PM and wake services ending at 8:00 PM. The second night will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Manderson, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Cody was born on May 18, 1983 in Rapid City, SD to George Clifford and Rhoda Twiss. He made his journey to the Spirit World on July 2, 2019 in Rapid City, SD.

Cody is survived by children Cante’ Skuya Clifford and Wicahpi Anpoa Clifford of Pocatello, ID and Cody Clifford Jr. of Rapid City, SD; sisters Michelle Clifford of St. Paul, MN, Crystal Keester of Milwaukee, WI, Desiree Clifford of Rapid City, SD, and Georgianna Clifford of Rochester, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by parents George Clifford and Rhoda Twiss; sister Vanessa Clifford; grandparents Thomas and June Clifford, Flora Twiss, and Levi Ghost; uncle Collins “CJ” Clifford; and cousin Joey Twiss.

Pallbearers will be Stefon Brown, Keeshaun Brown, Alton Clifford, Barry Thompson, Thomas Twiss Jr., Jon Cole Clifford, Raymond Pacheco, and Oglala Clifford.
