Funeral services for Charmaine Marie Stoldt “Mato Makicima,” age 50, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa officiating.

Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Rosary services starting at 7:00 PM.

Charmaine was born on April 4, 1969 in Rapid City, SD to Marvin Stoldt Sr. and Rita (Her Many Horses) Stoldt. She made her journey to the Spirit World on July 4, 2019 at the I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Charmaine is survived by father Marvin Stoldt Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD; children Dana, Derrick, and Noah Stoldt and Brian Sherman Jr., all of Pine Ridge, SD; siblings Frank Stoldt of Fargo, ND, Cameron Stoldt of Oglala, SD, Candi Stoldt-Johnson of Salol, MN, and Patti, April, and Emily Stoldt, all of Pine Ridge, SD; spouse Rick Buckman of Pine Ridge, SD; one grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charmaine was preceded in death by mother Rita (Her Many Horses) Stoldt; siblings Richard Sidney Stoldt, Marvin Stoldt Jr., and Ray Stoldt; uncle Mike Her Many Horses; niece Trisha Stoldt; and grandmother Emily Her Many Horses.
