Funeral services for David Brockhaus-Little Whiteman, age 54, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD with Minister Jonathan Old Horse officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11:15 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

David was born on June 14, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Aloysius Little Whiteman Sr. and Virginia Brown Eyes. He made his journey to the Spirit World on July 10, 2019 in Rapid City, SD.

David is survived by sons Cody Newitt and Cory Newitt of Rapid City, SD; sisters Alvon Little Whiteman of Kyle, SD, Robert Little Whiteman of Rapid City, SD, Joyce Dupont of Kyle, SD, and Audrey Ghost Dog of Wolf Point, MT; brothers Thomas Ghost Dog and Billy Ghost Dog of Hot Springs, SD and Emmett Little Whiteman of Omaha, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by parents Aloysius Little Whiteman Sr. and Virginia Brown Eyes; son David Newitt Jr.; and brothers Aloysius Little Whiteman Jr., George Ghost Dog, and John Ghost Dog.
