Funeral services for Christian Matthew Brien, age 35 weeks (Gestational Age), will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Jumping Eagle Ranch in Manderson, SD with Pastor Matt Hadden officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mike Little Boy.

Graveside services will be at the Jumping Eagle Family Cemetery in Manderson, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Jumping Eagle Ranch in Manderson, SD.

Christian, stillborn infant son of Sarah Jumping Eagle and Jacinto Brien, was born and passed away on July 13, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Christian is survived by parents Sarah Jumping Eagle and Jacinto Brien of Manderson, SD; brother Jacinto David Abraham Brien of Crow Agency, MT; sister Evianna Jumping Eagle of Manderson, SD; grandparents Sarita and Thad Richard of Manderson, SD, and Mary Rock Bigman and Ronald Flatmouth of Crow Agency, MT; great-grandparents William and Donna Jumping Eagle of Manderson, SD and Woodrow and Gladys Brien of Crow Agency, MT; great-great-grandmothers Beverly Bigman and Pauline Charges Strong of Crow Agency, MT; maternal great-grandfather Leon Adams of Rapid City, SD; special aunt Katherine Hernandez of Manderson, SD; special uncle Matthew Horn Cloud of Manderson, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers, and cousins.

Christian was preceded in death by grandfathers Acorn Adams and Roy Jumping Eagle; great-grandparents Roberta Bigman, Earl Rock, Ronnie Jumping Eagle, and Lillian Bear Runners; great-great-grandparents Fern Hollow Horn and Russell Mousseaux Sr.; great-great-great-grandparents Robert Jumping Eagle Sr., Rebecca Jumping Eagle, Sarah Hollow Horn, and Ivan Wilson; and uncles Christian Stewart and Berry Good Bird.
