Funeral services for Clifford Allen Grass Sr., age 58, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa and Joyce Tibbitts officiating.

Graveside services will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Rockyford, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Rosary services starting at 7:00 PM.

Clifford was born on September 6, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD to Victor Grass and Clementine Elk Boy. He made his journey to the Spirit World on July 14, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Clifford is survived by spouse Rose Cottier of Pine Ridge, SD; children Andrew (Elfreda) Cottier of Manderson, SD, Wesley (Becky Lewis) Cottier of Boone, IA, Beth (Marvin) Pourier of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeanine Grass, Clifford Grass Jr., Patrick Grass, and Jerri Lynn Cottier, all of Pine Ridge, SD, and Bishop Cottier of Oxford, WI; aunt Alvina Conquering Bear of Porcupine, SD; 35 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Clifford was preceded in death by father Victor Grass; mother Clementine Elk Boy; daughters Lori Cottier and Kelly Cottier; brother Donald Grass; granddaughter Kierra Lou Leeds; and mother- and father-in-law Bert and Marcella Cottier.
