Funeral services for Isaac Lewis Gibbons Sr., age 33, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with Pastor John Poff officiating. Traditional Lakota services are to be announced.

Graveside services will be at the Lakota Chapel Cemetery in Martin, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the LaCreek CAP Office in Martin, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night.

Isaac was born on March 10, 1986 in Pine Ridge, SD to Ivan Gibbons Sr. and Norah Marshall. He made his journey to the Spirit World on July 27, 2019 in Box Elder, SD.

Isaac is survived by children Shonte’ Gibbons and Myra Gibbons of Martin, SD, Yoshabelle Brown Bull, Tysean Gibbons, and Isaac Gibbons Jr., all of Allen, SD, and Cameron Richards of Interior, SD; mother Norah E. Marshall of Martin, SD; siblings LaVonne Peterson of Rapid City, SD, Billy (Ramiro) Jean Moran, Kimberly (Mike Laeng) Marshall, and LaTasha Gibbons, all of Box Elder, SD, and Ivan Gibbons Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Isaac was preceded in death by father Ivan M. Gibbons Sr.; grandfathers Joel Marshall Sr. and Charles Gibbons; grandmothers Martha Trouble In Front, Cora Galligo, and LaVonne Lays Hard; aunts Shirley Marshall-Hamel and Katherine Marshall; uncles Robert Marshall, Zelite Marshall, Eli Marshall, and Richard Marshall; and cousin Jeremy Bordeaux.

Pallbearers will be Ian Reddy, Keith Shangreaux, Roby Shangreaux, Xavier Fogg, Francis Pack, Bruce Roach Jr., Dio White Face, and Joseph Cottier.

Honorary pallbearers will be all nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
