A Mass of Christian Burial for Sheryl Sue Rouillard, age 48, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Father Joe Daoust, S.J., officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Rick Two Dogs.

Burial will be at the Rouillard Family Cemetery, one mile north of Loneman School (BIA 41) near Oglala, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with prayer services starting at 7:00 PM each night.

Sheryl was born on December 12, 1970 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lloyd Rouillard and Terri (Slow Bear) Rouillard. She made her journey to the Spirit World on August 1, 2019 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Sheryl is survived by son Taylor Rouillard of Oglala, SD; daughters Shenal Hinsch of Red Wing, MN and Shelby Hinsch of Oglala, SD; granddaughter Mia Rouillard of Oglala, SD; parents Lloyd and Terri Rouillard of Oglala, SD; and siblings Shirley (Gaylin) Holy Rock, Sherri Rouillard, Robert (Deanna) Rouillard, and Lee Rouillard, all of Oglala, SD.

Sheryl was preceded in death by brother Lloyd Rouillard Jr.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Rouillard, Calvin Holy Rock, Kenny Stands, Brendan Fast Horse, Russell Fast Wolf Jr., Paul Nava, Thomas Holy Rock, and Paul Bravo.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Sheryl Sue Rouillard.
