Funeral services for Darris Julia Eagle Bull “Wakan Wambi Hona Wi,” age 20, will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa officiating.

Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Darris was born on November 12, 1998 in Pine Ridge, SD to Don Lloyd Eagle Bull and Helena Fills The Pipe. She made her journey to the Spirit World on August 8, 2019 in Pine Ridge, SD.

Darris is survived by mothers Marnie (Bill) Waters-Charging of Pine Ridge, SD and Helena (Jamy) LaMont of Gering, NE; brothers Jaydon Waters and Nolan Waters; sisters Desirae Hoof, Patricia LaMont, Clara LaMont, Megan LaMont, and Jennie Waters; god-daughters Lillian Waters and Kenna Waters; aunts Tammy Eagle Bull, Jamie Eagle Bull, Olivia Bruner, Kimberly Eagle Bull, Samantha Eagle Bull, Prairie Rose Blacksmith, Delphine Lays Bad, Monique Yellow Horse, and Rose Bordeaux; uncles Tyler Waters, Garrett Waters, Dakota Eagle Bull, Ryan Waters, Loren Waters, Bud Beane, Dustin Eagle Bull, Lawrence John Eagle Bull, Chris Bald Eagle, Larry Eagle Bull, Paul Eagle Bull, Timothy King, Morris Eagle Bull, Cody Eagle Bull, Nathaniel Blacksmith, Bodene Fills The Pipe, and Dillon Fills The Pipe; and grandparetns Deloris Blacksmith, Wilma Blacksmith, Lois Wounded Horse, Gayla Fills The Pipe, and Leo & Patty Eagle Bull.

Darris was preceded in death by father Don Lloyd Eagle Bull; great-grandparents Nada and Toby Eagle Bull; grandparents Anntoinette Black Bear, Morris Eagle Bull, and Barry Fills The Pipe; grandmothers Jennie Eagle Bull, Clarinda Eagle Bull-Moran, and Oletha Mousseaux; grandfathers George Eagle Bull, Davis Eagle Bull, and Lawrence “Babe” Eagle Bull; brother Harold Dean “Wambli Wakan” LaMont; uncles Brandon Waters, Brett Waters, and Rulon Waters; and cousin Christina Waters.

Pallbearers will be Desirae Hoof, Chaske Zahn, Nathaniel Blacksmith, Dustin Eagle Bull, Laura Waters, Tyler Waters, Trina Lakota, and Jaydon Waters.
