Funeral and graveside services for George Wakinyan Iron Hawk-Waters, age 23 weeks (Gestational Age), will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD. Traditional Song and Prayer will be provided by George Apple and Quincy Red Feather.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Wakpamni CAP Office two miles east of Pine Ridge, SD. Burial service will follow at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.

George was born on August 12, 2019 in Pine Ridge, SD to Heather J. Waters and Brandon A. Iron Hawk. He made his journey to the Spirit World on August 12, 2019.

George is survived by parents Heather Waters and Brandon Iron Hawk; brother River Waters-Iron Hawk; half-sisters Jade and Summer; half-brother Lee; maternal grandmother Wanda J. Waters; paternal grandmother Dorene Whiting-Sabal Camancho; paternal grandfather Benjamin Iron Hawk; paternal great-grandparents Diane Kills In Water and James Whiting Sr.; paternal great-grandparents Samuel and Elizabeth One Horn, Bailey and Justina One Horn, Carmelita and Rodney Mesteth, Joyce Whiting, Christine Whiting, and Ruth Whiting; and paternal grandparents Franklin J. Whiting Jr., Aphelia R. Whiting, Wayne Larrabee, and Randall Larrabee.

George was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfathers Joseph Kadoke Waters and Howard J. Fuller Sr.; maternal great-grandmothers Leona Waters and Mary Lou Fuller; maternal grandmothers Karen Waln-Fulner and Matilda Waters; maternal grandfather Harold James Fuller; and paternal great-grandparents Olivia One Horn, Cleveland One Horn, Christopher One Horn, Lollie One Horn, Bernadette Whiting, Michael Whiting, and Joan Buckman.

Pallbearer will be Paul Wayne Kills In Water.
