Funeral services for Edna Mae Gutierrez, age 40, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD with Pastor Tim and Kim Wardell officiating.

Burial will be at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Cemetery in Allen, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Edna was born on October 29, 1978 in Pine Ridge, SD to Linda Thunder Bull and Narcise Gutierrez. She made her journey to the Spirit World on August 12, 2019 at Bennett County Hospital in Martin, SD.

Edna is survived by children Annabelle Gutierrez, Donecia Gonzales, and Jonathan Gonzales Jr., all of Allen, SD; significant other Jonathan Gonzalez Sr. of Scottsbluff, NE; sisters Tamera Ashley of Rapid City, SD and Mona Gutierrez, Heather Means, Leigha Bear Killer, and Tashina Means, all of Allen, SD; hunka sister Irene Sound Sleeper of Allen, SD; hunka mother Irene DuBray of Allen, SD; aunts Amanda Christensen, Phyliss Campbell, Dorothy Clifford, and Susan Thunder Bull, all of Kyle, SD and Bernadine May of Sells, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Edna was preceded in death by parents Linda Thunder Bull and Narcise Gutierrez; daughter Jessica Gonzalez; sister Annabell Means; brother Narcise Gutierrez; aunts Faye Lone Hill and Cora Bird Hat; uncles Earl Thunder Bull, Cecil Thunder Bull, Malcolm Thunder Bull, Ronald Shotts Sr., Charlie Shotts Sr. and Bernard Shotts; and grandparents Ella Imitates Dog and Vincent Thunder Bull.
