Memorial services for Gilbert August ‘Bert’ Bogner, age 70, of Oral, SD will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.

After the service, please plan to join the family for an honorary car cruise to Cascade in honor of Bert “Sneaky Snake” Bogner.

A private family gathering will be held at a later time to scatter Bert’s remains on his property.

Bert passed away on September 12, 2019 at Fall River Health Services in Hot Springs, SD. He was born on July 15, 1949 in Hot Springs, SD to Leonard and Edith (Trent) Bogner.

Bert is survived by wife Barbara of Oral, SD; sons Eric (Cari) Bogner or Oral, SD and Jason Bogner of Oral, SD; grandchildren Lane, Josie, and Sydney; sister, Nancy Bogner of Rapid City, SD and Rita (Carson) Bell of Oral, SD; and numerous friends.

Preceding Bert in death were his parents and grandchild Brianna.
