Memorial services for Richard LeRoy "Dick" "Bud" Barkley Jr., age 77, of Crawford, NE will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Crawford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
 
A private family burial will take place in the Crawford City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Crawford Seventh-day Adventist Church. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Dick passed away relatively peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from complications due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He was born to Richard LeRoy Barkley Sr. and Dorothy Campbell Barkley at Women’s General Hospital in Dearborn, MI on December 10, 1941, three days after Pearl Harbor was attacked. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
   
Survivors include wife Janeta Barkley of Crawford, NE and stepdaughter Roxie Graham-Marski and husband Eser of Crawford, NE.
