Funeral services for Jennifer Dawn Steele, age 42, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Rapid City, SD with Father Henrique Flemming officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Rapid City, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Jennifer was born on September 8, 1977 in Rapid City, SD to Chester Steele and Patricia LeBeau. She made her journey to the Spirit World on September 18, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Jennifer is survived by husband Richard Silva of Rapid City, SD; sons Dominick, Kaleb, and Richard “RJ” Silva, all of Rapid City, SD; daughter Belleeza Silva of Rapid City, SD; parents Patricia LeBeau of Rapid City, SD and Chester Steele of Rockyford, SD; stepmother Phyllis Shott of Rockyford, SD; sisters Dianne and Amanda Steele of Rapid City, SD, and Tiffany Steele of Rockyford, SD; brothers Chester Steele of Springfield, SD and Julian Steele and Charlie Steele of Rockyford, SD; stepsisters Maria and Moriah DeCory of Box Elder, SD, Gina Mallory of Rapid City, SD, and Chasity White Butterfly of Lincoln, NE; stepbrothers Joseph DeCory and Sean Red Elk of Springfield, SD; grandmother-in-law Francis Macias of Denver, CO; brother-in-law Anthony Silva of Denver, CO; and best friends Kristi Makepeace and David Hernandez of Blackhawk, SD.

Jennifer was preceded in death by brother Christopher LeBeau and grandmothers Cecelia Steele-White and Bernice DeCory.

Pallbearers will be Dominick Silva, Tyler Steele, David Hernandez, Martin DeCory, Levi Yellow Eagle, Julian Steele, Jerry High Bear, and Sean Red Elk.

Honorary pallbearers will be Betty & Levi Yellow Eagle & Family, Matthew & JoAnn Yellow Eagle & Family, Paul & Colleen Steele, John & Anna Steele, Martin DeCory & Family, Michelle DeCory & Family, William DeCory, and all Friends & Relatives.
