Funeral services for Gloria Theresa (Twiss) Morado, age 77, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Elderly Meals Building in Porcupine, SD with Bill White officiating. Traditional Lakota services are To Be Announced.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Sharps Corner, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Elderly Meals Building in Porcupine, SD with rosary services starting at 7:00 PM.

Gloria was born on November 27, 1941 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert Sr. and Isabelle (Cottier) Twiss. She made her journey to the Spirit World on October 1, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Gloria is survived by children Loretta L. Twiss of Martin, SD, Anita Gutierrez of Georgia, Denise Gutierrez of Rapid City, SD, Tina Woods of Fort Collins, CO, and Kevin Twiss of Martin, SD; sisters Donna J. Twiss of Thornton, CO and Agnes A. Twiss of Fort Lupton, CO; goddaughter Donna J. Twiss; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by parents Robert Sr. and Isabelle Twiss; sisters Edwina Sanchez and Marie Twiss; brothers Robert Charles Twiss Jr., Emery “Blue” Twiss, Raymond Twiss, Harold Twiss, and Donald Twiss; grandson A.J. Rodriquez; and close friend Jan Kaul.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Twiss Jr., Vincent Janis, Jeff Shoulders, Lane Twiss, Donald “Cuny Dog” Cuny, Elwood Cuny, Richie Mousseaux, and Robert “Hunska” Cottier.
