Funeral services for Alicia Alma Lee Janis “Anpo Wicahpi Winyan,” age 31, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with the officiant to be announced. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Ivis Long Visitor and Mr. John Red Feather.

Burial will be at the Good Lance-Brave Family Cemetery, #6 Community, Oglala, SD.

A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night of the wake. Tokala roll call will be at 8:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2019.

Alicia was born on February 20, 1988 in Pine Ridge, SD to Bobbie Jo Janis and Francis Good Lance and her other parents, Marvin and Valerie Janis. She made her journey to the Spirit World on October 1, 2019 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
