Funeral services for 49-year old Clarissa Louise Red Shirt will be Friday, Nov 15, 2019 at 11:00 at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD, with Pastor Jonathan Old Horse and Pastor Elton Yellow Boy officiating. 

Graveside services will be Friday, Nov 15, 2019 at 1:30 PM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rapid City.

A one-night wake service begins Thursday, Nov 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City with a fellowship meal at 5:00 and evening prayer services starting at 7:00.

Clarissa Louise Red Shirt had a given name of Rita Kay “K.K.” Matzke. She was born on May 28, 1970 in Scottsbluff, NE to Marvena (LaMont) Matzke and Robert Matzke. Clarissa made her journey to the Spirit World on November 7, 2019 at her home in Rapid City, SD.

Clarissa is survived by her children, Maria and Olivia Bruner, Charlene LaMont, Nicholas Matzke, Vivian, Tristan, Cante, Steven and Fauna Permann; mother, Marvena LaMont; siblings, Roni, Anpo and Lawrence Matzke, Iwoblu LaMont and Ryan Eagle Bull; grandchildren, Ayden Gerry, Athena Zimmerman, Jimmy Jo Running Shield, Jr., Luka Strickland, Porter, Maisyn and Sage Coats and Lucciano Shull; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Clarissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Clara (Redshirt) LaMont; father, Robert Matzke; brother, Ricky Kevin Matzke; and dear friend, Steve Henrickson.

Pallbearers will be: Paisley Godfrey, Winter Godfrey, Daniel LaMont, Skyler LaMont, Marcus Shield and Roni Matzke.

Honorary Pallbearers will be All Close Family & Friends.
