Funeral services for 20-year old Mariah Leray Bettelyoun are Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:00 in the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pine Ridge, SD, with Father Ed Hunt & Rev. Rhoda Mesetth officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Mike Little Boy

Graveside Services will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge

A two-night wake services starts Wednesday, Nov 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pine Ridge with evening services at 7:00 PM, Wednesday evening.

Mariah Leray Bettelyoun "Wakinyan Luta Win", was born on July 5, 1999 in Pine Ridge, SD to Richard L. Bettelyoun and Colette R. Bagola.  Mariah made her journey to the Spirit World on November 10, 2019 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Mariah is survived by her only son, Bison Lee Bettelyoun; father, Richard L. Bettelyoun III; mother, Colette R. Bagola; sister, Richelle L. Talbot of MN; brothers, Richard Bettelyoun IV, Lonnie Bettelyoun, Sage Bettelyoun, and Sevriano Bagola; maternal grandparents, Fred Bagola, Sr. and Simone Bagola; and paternal grandparents, Sandy Bettelyoun.

Mariah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Lonnie Bettelyoun, Sr; great grandparents, Richard Little Hawk, Sr., Elizabeth Around Him, Solomon Bagola, Cecelia Brewer, Richard Bettelyoun II, Rita Tapio, Lindy White Calf, and Florence Richards; cousin, Giselle Bettelyoun; and grandfathers, LaCroix, Ansel, and Irvin White Calf.

Pallbearers will be Devon Janis, Joseph Bagola, Colton Bagola, Cole Bettelyoun, Cole Reddy, Richard Bettelyoun IV, Lonnie Bettelyoun, and Sage Bettelyoun.
