Funeral services for 27-week old (gestational age) Emily Angel Rose Blue Bird will be Monday, Nov 25, 2019 at 2:00 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson, SD, with Fr. Edmund Yainao, S.J. officiating.
Graveside services will be at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Manderson
A wake service will precede the funeral starting Monday, Nov 25, at 11:30 at St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson
Emily Angel Rose Blue Bird was born on November 17, 2019 in Rapid City, SD to Andrea Jumping Eagle and William Blue Bird. Emily made her journey to the Spirit World on November 17, 2019 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Emily Angel Rose is survived by her parents, William Blue Bird and Andrea Jumping Eagle, both of Rapid City, SD; siblings, Carlito Jumping Eagle, Isaac White Crane, Jr., Isandra, Josephine and Dante’ Jumping Eagle and Laelonnie Witchey, all of Rapid City, SD and Kendra Bagola of Red Shirt Table, SD; maternal aunts, Brynda Janis and Carteecia Jumping Eagle; paternal aunts, Catherine Blue Bird, Belle Blue Bird and Layla White Dress; maternal uncles, Christian Janis and Wamble Jumping Eagle; paternal uncles, Richard Blue Bird and Timothy White Dress; grandparents, Carletta Jumping Eagle of Manderson, SD, Andre (Martha Protector) Janis, Sr. of Wounded Knee, SD, Brynda Jumping Eagle of Manderson, SD, Lucille White Dress and Belleron Blue Bird, Sr., both of Rapid City, SD; and numerous cousins.
Emily Angel Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Isabelle Irene Jumping Eagle; aunts, Angel Rose Jumping Eagle, and Emily Anne Blue Bird; uncles, Carl Curtis Janis, Sr., Andre Curtis Janis, Jr. and Asa James Blue Bird; and great grandparents, Curtis Compton Janis, Jean Mary Janis, Francis White Dress, Sr., Adeline Sun Bear, Theodora Tail and Bryan Blue Bird, Sr.
Pallbearers will be: Maurice Jumping Eagle and Richard Blue Bird.
