Funeral services for 29-year old Jason Michael Mousseaux of Pine Ridge, S.D., will be Monday, Dec  9, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, S.D. with traditional Lakota services by Mr Mike Little Boy

Burial Services will be at the Mousseaux Sweat Lodge in Pine Ridge

A two-night wake service starts Saturday, Dec 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge with the second night starting at Sunday Dec 8 at 1:00 PM at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala

Jason Michael Mousseaux “Wambli Hoksila” was born on December 9, 1989 in Gordon, NE to Ronald Mousseaux, Sr. and Simone (Sioux Bob) Janis. Jason made his journey to the Spirit World on December 2, 2019 at his home in Pine Ridge, SD. 

Jason is survived by his mother, Simone (Sioux Bob) Janis of Pine Ridge, SD; sister, Jackie Mousseau of Chadron, NE; special niece/god daughter, Josselyn T. Mousseau of Chadron, NE; uncles, Emmanuel Sioux Bob of Las Vegas, NV and Kelly Winters of Wanblee, SD; Aunts, Monique Sioux Bob of Rapid City, SD, Rose Sioux Bob of Hartington, TX, Justine Carlow of Chamberlain, SD, Marlys Richards and Phyllis DeSersa, both of Wanblee, SD; brothers, Justin Mousseaux & family of Oglala, SD, Lydell Mousseaux of Wolf Creek, SD, Davey Mousseau and Family of Pine Ridge, SD, and Ron Mouuseaux, Jr. and family of Pine Ridge, SD; special friend, Annie Minor; and all nieces & nephews.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Mousseaux, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Rosemarie Sioux Bob and Franklin Sioux Bob, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Blanche DeSersa and Taylor Mousseau; uncles, Franklin Sioux Bob, Jr.; brothers, Matthew John and Francis Janis; uncle, Michael Sioux Bob; nephews, Baby Mousseaux and Desmond Mousseaux; and niece, Sioux Dawn Rae.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Big Crow, Coy Clifford, Bradley Hawk, Al Two Two, Caleb Little Moon, Richard White Eyes, Pat Killer, Tex Wells, Rudy Contreres, Ival Janis, Lydell Mousseaux, Ronald Mousseaux, Jr., Justin Mousseaux, David Mousseaux and Emmanuel Sioux Bob.
