Funeral services for 40-year old Vera Rose Kills Small of Oglala, SD, are Saturday, Dec 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with Pastors Eric Sutton and Leon Schwartz officiating.

Burial services will be at the Good Lance-Brave Family Cemetery in #6 Community, Oglala

A two-night wake service starts Thursday, Dec 26, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night.

Vera Rose Kills Small was born on July 24, 1979 in Pine Ridge, SD to Kerman Kills Small, Sr. and Annette Crazy Thunder. Vera made her journey to the Spirit World on December 16, 2019 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Vera Rose is survived by her parents, Kerman (Barbara) Kills Small, Sr. and Annette (Wesley, Sr.) Crazy Thunder both of Oglala, SD; daughters, Ariana Rose Titus, Hailey Frances Titus, and Penelope “Pineapple” Kills Small all of Oglala, SD; sons, Bradley and Jesse Jensen, and Jaceon “Buck Wheat” Kills Small all of Oglala, SD;

Special friend, Brandon “Cheetos” Running Horse of Oglala, SD;

Vera was preceded in death by mother, Vera “Unci” Good Lance; grandmother, Elizabeth Makes Him First; grandfathers, Cornelius Kills Small, Albert Brave, Sr., Samuel Brave, and Norman Crazy Thunder; aunt, Eldora “Smash” Kills Small; uncles, Francis “Punchy” Good Lance and Floyd Crazy Thunder; cousins, Alicia Janis, Elijah Blue Martin, Kelsey Good Lance, Geri Jane Plenty Arrows, and Judy Evans.
