Funeral services for 28-year old Philip Russell Sanchez-Reyes of Mesa, Az, are Tuesday, Dec 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God in Wounded Knee, SD, with Pastor Stanley Hollow Horn officiating.

Burial services will be at the Fast Horse Creek Cemetery in Wounded Knee.

A one-night wake service starts Monday, Dec 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM the Church of God in Wounded Knee with evening services at 7:00.

Philip Russell Sanchez-Reyes was born on June 17, 1991 in Rapid City, SD to Jose Sanchez-Reyes and Rosemarie White Eyes. Philip made his journey to the Spirit World on December 20, 2019 at his home in Mesa, AZ.

Philip is survived by his mother, Rose White Eyes of Mesa, AZ; father, Jose Sanchez-Reyes of Mexico; siblings, Maria Sanchez-Reyes, Courtney White Eyes and Minnie Good Bear, all of Mesa, AZ; aunts, Maria Sanchez-Reyes and Delia Sanchez, both of Mesa, AZ, Sandy (Lenny Lone Hill) White Eyes and Family of Rapid City, SD, Stella Smith of Indiana and Jill Lame of Chadron, NE; uncles, Russell & Cheryl Pourier White Eyes of Porcupine, SD and Roger Dean Lame of Chadron, NE; grandmother, Piedad Reyes of Mexico; cousins, Erendira Cota-Sanchez, Sigifredo Cota-Sanchez and Claudia Beltran, all of Mesa, AZ; and all nieces and nephews.

Philip was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert White Eyes and Velma Lame; aunts, Patricia Craven and Cybil Yellow Horse; uncle, Floyd White Eyes; cousin, Stella White Eyes; and nephew, Trevor Thunder Hawk

Pallbearers will be Eric Juarez, Leonard Lone Hill, Eugene Marshall, Tyler Reed, Landon Prairie Chicken, Micah Prairie Chicken, and Angel Buelna.
