01/18/2020 - David G Hansen

A wake and rosary for 24-year old David G Hansen will be held at 7pm, Friday, Jan 17th, 2020 at 7 pm followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am Saturday, Jan 18th. Both services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 340 Cedar St, Chadron, NE 69337.

Those who wish to remember David in a special way can contribute to his memorial fund at Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron NE 69337.

David G. Hansen won his battle of life on January 13, 2020. He was born January 15, 1995 at Fort Benning, GA, the son of Jon Paul and Laura Lee(Segura) Hansen.

As an Army child, David traveled and lived in Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota, and Nebraska. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears like his mother and sister.

He completed school at age 18 at Rapid City Central High School. David loved Disney World and visited Disney at least ten times. David was “Heaven’s Special Child” and changed the lives of everyone he met.

He was preceded by Grandpa Gilberto Segura, Grandma Trieva Mitchell and Grandpa Bob Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by siblings Jon Wallace Segura Hansen (Chadron, NE) and Elizabeth Ann Hansen (St Augustine, FL). Grandparents Monte and Norma Hansen (Griffin, GA) Maria Elena Segura (Davenport, IA) Syra Hansen (Powder Springs, GA) Aunts and Uncles Ana and Mason Rountree (Powder Springs, GA) David and Valerie Hansen (DeBary, FL) Curtiss Mitchell (Apopka, FL) Leonardo Segura (Oxford, IA) Maria Felicitas Walker (Bettendorf, IA) Maria Elena and Don Hahn (Davenport, IA) Blanca Upton (Rock Island, IL) Juan and Sandra Segura (Detroit, MI) Rosa Segura (Davenport, IA) and Linda Chavez (Hampton, VA), 27 first Cousins and many 2nd Cousins.

Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for David G Hansen.
