In keeping with her desire, there will be no services for 85-year old Joan Marie Goodin of Hot Springs, SD.

Joan was born July 18, 1935, in Genoa, WI to Harvey and Harriet (Mueller) Stambaugh and passed away August 22, 2020, at her residence in Hot Springs.

Joan is survived by her children, Greg (Laura) Merchen of Marsland, NE; Marijo (Howard) Mazanec of Hemingford, NE; Peggy (Gary) Hollinrake of Hemingford, NE; Roy (Stephanie) Merchen of Douglas, WY; Daren Merchen of Hot Springs, SD; Sonny (Sara) Merchen of Pine Haven, WY; 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Predeceasing Joan were her parents; husband Alvin Merchen; husband Roland Goodin, and sister Wendy.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
