Graveside services for 34-year old Keith “Daniel” Kills Straight are Sat, August 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery near Kyle, SD, with Father Ron Seminara, S.J., officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Larry Swalley

Visitation will precede the services from 1-3:00 PM, at the Alida Pierce residence in Kyle

Keith D Kills Straight Jr, called Daniel by those who knew him, was born on September 4, 1985 in Martin, SD, and made his journey to the Spirit World on August 21, 2020.  

Daniel was a loving person and kindhearted; he helped when needed and didn’t ask for anything in return. He had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh - he liked to dance and joke around.  We are going to miss him very much.

Daniel was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Viola Hornbeck; grandmother, Ethel Rodriguez; aunts, Carmel Little Moon and Corrine Ruff; cousins, Arta & Joe Winters, Samantha & Sophie One Horn; Eden Little Moon, Logan Stadnick, Laddimer Price, Wade Hernandez, and Vetal Two Crow; uncles, Warren Rodriguez, Lee Two Crow, and Pat Ruff; grandfathers, Eugene & Birgal Kills Straight, Deleno Featherman & Ed Youngman-Afraid of His Horse; grandmothers, Bernice Featherman, Isabel Bull Bear, Winnadel Bull Bear, and Charlotte (John) Ortez; aunts, Charlotte & Justina Kills Straight; and cousin, Jeremy Kills Straight.
