Henri Olaf Cattin, 65 of Veteran, WY died Saturday December 29, 2007 with his family by his side.

Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 at North Hills Baptist Church in Lingle, WY at 10 a.m.

Henri was born February 11, 1942 in Laramie, WY to Peter & Elvira (Barkman) Cattin. Henri moved with his family at age 4 to Veteran, WY. He attended Veteran school all twelve years. He then went to college at Casper and obtained a degree in auto body. On December 20, 1969, Henri married Peggy Kerns. Together they raised three boys, John, James & Jordan. Henri lived for farming and his family. He was especially proud of his grandchildren showing pictures to everyone. Henri loved to tell stories and jokes, he knew no stranger. His talent was to repair and rebuild anything. Henri enjoyed spring brandings, summer camping trips & hunting in the fall.

He was a member of the Veteran volunteer fire department, serving as the fire chief for 23 years. He was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union.

Henri is survived by his wife Peggy Cattin, 3 sons, John (Celeste) Cattin of Chadron, NE, James (Norma) Cattin of Las Vegas, NV, & Jordan (Nicole) Cattin of Huntley, WY. 5 grandchildren, Joe, Jerhett, Lance, Taylor & Kristanna Cattin. 2 sisters Marjorie (Gerald) Clark of Fort Collins, CO, and Esther (Don) Hood of Bella Vista, AK.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be sent to Colyer Funeral Home of Torrington. I

nterment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Morrill, NE.
