Funeral Services for Dwayne Ervin Krueger, age 81, of Crawford will be Friday, February 8, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church with Pastor Marsha Stauss officiating. Burial will be at the Crawford Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
Dwayne was born July 16, 1926 to Ervin and Wilma Krueger in Hay Springs, NE.
Dwayne, a veteran of World War II was married to Dorothy Bleasdell on December 20, 1947. As a man of many talents, the proverbial jack of all trades, he worked as a plumber, electrician, carpenter, mechanic, a driver for Warren Gas, worked for the Crawford City water department and did construction for Diamond Engineering. He retired from the Campbell school system in Gillette, WY, after 14 years as a carpenter. He was a member of the Eagles Clug and the American Legion. Immediate Survivors:
Son- Steve Krueger of Crawford, NE. Daughters- Shirley Douthit of Crawford, NE; Sandy Krueger of Crawford, NE; Sharon Kloher-danz of Sterling, CO. Brother- Dean Krueger of Hay Springs, NE.
Sister- Mardell Piper of Crawford, NE.
Grandchildren- 4
Great Grandchildren- 1 Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
