Funeral Services for Wade A. Colhoff, age 38, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Billy Mills Hall with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating. Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Floyd Running Hawk. A one-night wake will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 13th at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
Wade was born on July 25. 1969 at Pine Ridge to Charles Winters, Sr. and Josephine Colhoff. He left on March 10, 2008 after a two-week fight with Strep Pneumonia. Wade was a very special person. He touched many lives and he was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved everyone, especially kids. He was a dedicated Tina Turner fan and the best breadmaker known. Immediate Survivors:
Brothers- Russell and wife Donna Waylen, II of Pine Ridge, SD; Virgil Colhoff of Rapid City, SD. Sisters- Marcie and husband George Janis, Tonie and husband Tim Colhoff , Klarice and husband Butch Bettelyoun, Tressee Colhoff all of Pine Ridge, SD; Cheryl Colhoff of Albuquerque, NM; Michelle Bettelyoun of Sioux Falls, SD; Jayde Bettelyoun of Rapid City, SD.
Aunts- Bertha Yellow Hawk, Delphine Two Two both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Nieces & Nephews- Numerous
Grandchildren- Numerous Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
