Memorial Services for James Martin Hughes, age 55, of Crawford will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Community Church in Crawford with Pastor Dave Kennedy officiating. A memorial has been established at Security First Bank of Crawford, NE.
Jim was born ot Milton Hughes and Lucille Nelsen Hughes, May 24, 1952 in Chadron, NE. He lived most of his life in Crawford except for when he ws 8 years old, he lived in Harrison for two years and again when he started working for the Nebraska Department of Roads and lived in Harrison for two more years. He graduated from Crawford High School in 1970. He then started his career of a Maintenance Worker for NDOR. He married his wife, Irene, in October of 1980, they remained married until his death. To this union were born two children, Kerrie in January of 1983 and Christopher in June of 1984. Jim loved to hunt, fish, bowl and play golf. He was very loyal to his family and friends. Wife- Irene Hughes of Crawford, NE. Son- Chris Hughes.
