04/12/2008 - Margaret Edna Osborne Bickford
Funeral Services for Margaret E. Bickford, age 94, of Chadron will be Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church in Chadron with Reverend Russ Seger officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron.
Margaret was born June 5, 1913 at Chadron, NE. She remained in Dawes County and graduated from Chadron High School. She married Leroy Bickford in Hot Springs, SD on April 16, 1931. They farmed and ranched west of Chadron, where she lived for 77 years. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church. She was a volunteer at the senior center, for flower mission and the Dawes County Museum. Margaret enjoyed quilting and ceramics. She also enjoyed plays and musicals. Immediate Survivors:
Daughter-In-Law- Carolyn Bickford of Broken Bow, NE. Grandsons- Rick Bickford of Broken Bow, NE; Steve Bickford of Gillette, WY.
Granddaughter- Carla Requejo of Alliance, NE.
Great Grandchildren- 5 Great Great Grandchildren-2
Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow, NE is in charge of arrangements.
