Funeral Services for Bernie Reitz of Batesland, South Dakota will be Wednesday June 11, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rushville, Nebraska at 10:00am with Father Tim Stoner officiating.

     A Wake Service will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 7:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rushville.

     Burial with Military Honors will be at the Rushville Cemetery.

     Mr. Reitz died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Rapid City Regional Hospital, he was 63.

     A memorial has been established for the Batesland Fire Department.  Donations may be sent to First National Bank Of Gordon, P.O. Box 290, Gordon, Nebraska 69343.

     His survivors include his wife Carol of Batesland, son Brian of Naples, Italy and daughter Janell Ando of Rapid City, South Dakota.
