Funeral Services for Judy “Rising” Kissell, age 59, of Harrison will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Harrison Bible Church in Harrison with Pastor Matt Parker officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 13th from Noon-8:00 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Crawford. Burial will be at the Andrews Cemetery in Harrison. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337 or to Bob Kissell, 562 Andrews Road, Harrison, NE 69346.

Husband- Bob Kissell of Harrison, NE. Mother-In-Law- Mary Kissell of Silvis, IL.
Son- Corey and wife Michelle Rising of Torrington, WY.
Daughters- Ashley Rising of Chadron, NE; Brenda and Mike Foster of Potter, NE.
Step-Daughter- Mandy Kissell of Mineral, IL.
Sister- Jeanette and husband Denny Weimer of Gering, NE.
Grandchildren- Alisha Rising, Kaylea, Zane and Avary Rising, Christopher Foster.
Judy (Rising) Kissell died peacefully in herhome outside of Harrison, NE on Tuesday, June 10th with her husband Bob by her side. Judy fought a hard battle with Bronchial Lung Cancer for a year and half.
Judy was born April 13, 1949 in Scottsbluff, NE to Elmer and Esther Weinmaster. Their family lived in Gering, NE where Judy graduated high school.
Judy married Bob Rising on July 3, 1969 in Hot Spring, SD. To this union, three children were born.
Later on in her life Judy, met and married Bob Kissell on June 28, 1992. They lived in Harrison for awhile then moved to Dalton, NE where they lived for two years. In 1997 they decided to move back to the Harrison area. Judy and Bob made their home at Andrews, outside of Harrison, NE; where Judy lived until her death.
Her hobbies were many. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, quilting, wood working, walking, reading and spending time with her family.
Many people remember her for her sense of humor and her waitressing career in many area establishments in the Harrison and Crawford area.
